Marci Preheim
I've been a real estate investor in the Nashville area for about 25 years. Back in the old days I would renovate a house while my kids were in school--doing as much of the work as I could myself. In 2008 the mortgage crisis hit and I became a landlord overnight. I got my Real Estate License in 2017 so I could negotiate my own deals, but found joy in helping other people buy and sell their homes as well. I love a new adventure so I started looking for a real-estate adjacent business to buy. I found Quick-It by asking many of the Title companies that I had worked with who they use as a Courier Company. They all said Quick-It. Arnie and I purchased Quick-It Courier in June 2025, and have really enjoyed diving in, getting to know the business, our customers, and our fantastic staff. In my spare time (what's that?) I like to hang out with my Husky/Akita/Australian Shepherd mix Bodie and my rescue Chiweenie Supermutt Violet, travel abroad, visit my kids (Paige in Los Angeles) and (Brock in DC), and watch comedy shows--I love to laugh!
Arnie Preheim
Born and raised an Army Brat, I lived in eight different places before third grade. I finished my education on the West Coast and my first job out of college relocated me (and my new bride, Marci) to Nashville in 1995, where we have been ever since. My full-time gig is a Commercial Banker for a Regional Bank, and I have several other hats that I wear (husband, dad, real estate investor, small business owner). Marci and I have been married 30+ years and have two amazing grown children, one in the movie biz on the West Coast and the other an ER doc on the East Coast. In my spare time you can find me on the golf course, working out at the gym, reading a good book, grilling in the backyard, traveling to see my kids and experience the world, and exploring the great outdoors.
Stacia Smith
Born and raised in Nashville, I’ve spent my entire life in Middle Tennessee. After working across several industries, I joined Quick-It in 2018—turns out my ADHD brain is oddly gifted at herding drivers! I’m lucky enough to work remotely while keeping my coworkers well-versed in the complexities of Middle TN traffic. I enjoy my job and most of what it entails 😉and I do believe we have the best Customers in the world! I live in rural Sumner County with Josh, my Anam Cara and favorite human, our three rescue dogs—Sawyer, Sassy, and Sweetie—who run the household, and our two delightfully arsehole cats, Samzun and Sidra. When I’m off the clock, you’ll find me working on my garden, building a full-service hummingbird paradise, or parked on the porch with a good book, soaking up the quiet (or at least pretending it’s quiet).
Alice Hawkins
I'm a native of beautiful Tennessee and currently live in Clarksville, my home town. My background is in bookkeeping, logistics, and customer service. I love listening to people and figuring out puzzles, which translates extremely well into dispatching. In 2022, I joined Quick-It Courier as an occasional driver, but quickly transitioned into the office. The company and the role are an excellent fit for me--I love my job! Taking care of you and your deliveries in the best way possible is my goal. I share a house with two elderly ladies: my mother and our 15-year-old cat, Onyx. I'm also a singer, artist, and amateur herbalist. In my free time you'll likely find me gardening or wandering through creeks.
